Tales from the Borderlands review - Financial Post

Financialpost: "Borderlands may seem a bit of an odd fit for a Telltale Games project, at least a first glance. Gearboxs sci-fi RPGs are packed with first-person shooting action, thrive on looting and exploration, and are best enjoyed with a group of friends. None of these things call to mind Telltales most popular titles such as their Walking Dead games which are driven by story rather than action, focus on lengthy conversations between characters, and are thoroughly solitary experiences."

Whats more, when youre not laughing at one of the numerous chuckle-inspiring moments, youll find yourself actually caring about the fate of your lovable group of galactic misf...

Tales From The Borderlands: Zer0 Sum Review I Hey Poor Player

Added: 29.11.2014 12:11 | 7 views | 0 comments

Hey Poor Player's Francis DiPersio writes- When Tales from the Borderlands was first announced it was easy to feel a bit skeptical as to whether or not Telltale Games could deliver as far as spinning a yarn as grand as The Walking Dead or The Wolf Among Us. Dont get me wrong; while the Borderlands titles have always featured some enjoyable writing, the narrative itself is usually buried under mountains of bullet-riddled bodies and shimmering loot. In the dangerous, bandit-filled wastelands of Pandora, the story has always taken backseat to wholesale destruction, the pursuit of bigger, badder guns and even bigger, badder psychopaths to blast into mountains of twitching meat.
